Diwali madness is over but pre-Diwali hangover still lingers ~ The India Story per say. An event that didn’t get unnoticed by a single person in the city. An event that’d promised to bring back culture and fill your heart with memories. It lived upto all the hype and how! I’ve honestly lost the count of designers at the event, all I want to talk about is the grandeur, the curation, and the execution. Four days of culture chaos that started with an opening show by Sanjay Garg for Raw Mango, and ended with a ‘blockbuster’ signage hanging outside the venue (literally).
TIS brought down every thing possible to create a complete experience for us, starting from an incredible lineup of Indian fashion designers, (and some talented budding designers for the first time), popular lifestyle brands with some extraordinary creations strategically placed at their stalls, pop up restaurants mushroomed in a unique setting, live performances (and some really unforgettable ones), chat shows with experts from distinct fields, wonderful installations by Anamika Khanna, Ritu Kumar, Wendell Rodricks, and a lot more.. more of these.
Blessed by clear skies and windy evenings, the whole atmosphere turned out to be twice as amazing with people relishing Indian chaat counters, woman shopping their hearts out on a karvachauth day, and families enjoying some never-seen-before performances. Words are honestly not enough to blog down my experience at the TIS. Here are few images to help you reminisce the first of its kind experience in a nutshell. What we saw & couldn’t get enough of it! Enjoy the pictures x
