Shopping Guide for Chorbazaar: festive shenanigans

It’s that time of the year again, when our hands don’t stop itching, shopping bags don’t stop spilling, and we don’t miss any exhibition/popup/trunkshow/ or any shopping experience whatsoever.  Oh well i’m not complaining! Adding to our must-go list is this season’s Chorbazaar:festive shenanigans, curated by Paridhi & Abhishek Sukhani. A two fashionable affair is taking place in The Oberoi Grand Hotel, today (31st October) & tomorrow (1st Novemeber). Being the official blogging partner, i have my shopping guide by my side. Style-o-graph helps you navigate the 10,000 square feet space with no sweat!


1. Urvashi Kaur

Delhi’s favourite comes to calcutta with a festive edition collection full of gorgeously structured cuts & drapes , making for an understated beauty this Diwali.

2. Frou Frou By Archana Rao

Archana Rao’s collection titled ‘Once upon a town’ earned rave reviews at the recently concluded fashion week in Delhi. Inspired by tessellation motifs and old mosaic tiles, it has a play of print and hand embroidery giving all the garments a very tactile feel.

3. Surendri by Yogesh Chowdhry

Contemporary take on traditional cuts, playful use of colours, with a dash of quirky prints, Surendri comes back to the city with its latest collection. A perfect pick for this seasons cards party or your bff’s wedding!

4. Reboot by Anuj Bhutani

This designer aims to deliver oodles of style coupled with the benefit of ‘comfort luxury’. Subtle quirk is his last name.

5. Evaaya

Ward off evil in style with a fine jewelry brand from Bombay, EVAAYA, that incorporates the age old evil eye talisman, adorned in gold. Bespoke designs in Hallmarked 18kt Gold & Diamonds for Women , Men & Kids. It is the perfect gift for a mother to be, for little ones and anyone who wouldn’t mind some dainty jewellery that has an added benefit of protection from malevolent forces.

6. Mal Kidswear
