The India Story is an initiative by the Ambuja group where some remarkable entrepreneurs & artistes have come together to generate a platform for showcasing the best of Indian design aesthetics & practices to the city of joy. This first of its kind event brings together Indian fashion designers, interior designers, dancers, singers, artisans, photographers, food connoisseurs, and all that you can think of under one roof for 4 days! All you have to do is? Indulge in this experience until it lasts. Styleograph is elated to be a part of this grand affair, and before the show begins we tell you what you just can’t miss at the TIS.


1. Raw Mango by Sanjay Garg

rawmangoDesigner Sanjay Garg just opened the show at AIFW SS16, Delhi, and he’s all set to open another show at the TIS with an exclusive festive collection. Expect Tradition to meet grandeur at its classic best. (by invite only)

2. Amrich:

Shirts, Jackets, dresses in Shiboris, dyes, and bandhinis, will satisfy your need of everyday contemporary indian textiles.

3. Shades Of India

shades-of-indiaOne of India’s leading creators of Home Fashion, Shades of India has launched new collections in both home and in clothes and accessories. A unique blend of textures, colours, and fabrics, will make this store from Delhi a must-visit stall at TIS.

4. Installations by Anamika Khanna & Wendell Rodricks

Best of Indian Designers will be putting up installations of their creations at the event. With their history of surprising us all the time I really don’t know what to expect. But it’ll surely be worth it!wendell-rodericks

5. Jewellery by Amrapali & Valliyan

valliyanA pioneer in Traditional jewelry on one side,  and bollywoods favourite contemporary jewllery brand on the other. Bold or/and beautiful you are sure to find your accessory fix here.

6. Symposium

symposiumAmazing storytellers, namely Anavila Misra, Ashiesh Shah, Naushad Ali, Matteo Sibic, and many others will be talking on different subjects & agendas at the TIS.

7. Restaurants Pop-Up

The Madhouse Pub, a brainchild of Nil of Dev R Nil, has come up with anew concept that is sure to impress your tastebuds. We are excited much!

8. Personal Shopper Service

Stylist & Personal Shopper Sohiny Das will be there to help you pick & choose whatever you are looking for at this huge venue; keeping in mind your budget & taste (obvio). And yes, all this for free!

9. LIVE performances

There are very many live performances to look forward to at the TIS.  The rhythm divine by Astad Deboo (on 31stastad-deboo, at 7pm) being one the most anticipated ones.

10. The TIS stall 

It has all the designers who might have missed but aren’t. TIS team decided to host a curated mix of handpicked pieces from Eka, Payal Khandwala, White Champa, Anavila Misra, et al under one roof.
