Hey there! Hope you guys are recovering from the special effects of demonetisation and back to bloom in business. For me per say, 2016 has been an extraordinaire year with 11 months ending in a jiffy. I know you feel me. As you may’ve noticed, Styleograph is back in action with fresh stories, new plans and serious promises. We’ve worked really hard to be here, and I’m so glad that the city of joy is (finally) applauding & acknowledging bloggers for their work. THANKYOU!
Having said that I feel like talking about the socio-economic situation affecting the fashion industry, but I’d like to stick to what I know best. 😛 Fashion. With a little nip in the air, fall gives us hope of some serious winter scenes in 2016. It’s the season of morning walks amidst the fog, garden parties,bar-b-que dinners, badminton and most importantly replenishing the wardrobe with favourite winter wear.
Fall/Winter, indeed is every fashionista’s favourite time of the year.
But, guess what? This year’s fall fashion is ‘hotter’ than ever! From runways to the streets of Paris , New York to India, we’ve spotted certain trends giving us major #ootdgoals. There are few trends that I’m currently obsessing over, and Velvet tops the list. Yes, i said it. 1990s trend returns with a bang on the runways of Indian couturiers Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, to norm breakers Kallol Datta, Rara Avis (and many more). Globally, be it Valentino’s floor length silhouettes skimming the runway, or Dries Van Noten’s pearl embellished boots, we can’t deny how bloggers-stylists-and fashionistas are loving it’s homecoming.
I already have multiple pieces adorning my fall wardrobe, and here is the look I created combining velvet & athleisure.
To welcome fall on the blog I chose a handmade jumper by this young tote from the city to pair it up with tracks and boots. A furry arm-candy for that matter is always a good idea. I also tried the rope braid for a more normcore feel. How do you like it ? Go ahead and take a look at the pictures..

Hope you like what you see! Don’t forget to let us know how would you like to adopt velvet in your wardrobe. Until next time,
